Pretty Brown Eyes

How cute is this little man?? Mom and Dad (and Tia too) drove all the way down from Hackensack to see me and I'm so glad they did!!
He has the most beautiful brown eyes I've ever seen and those
amazing cheeks!!! And people wonder why I like baby photography.

Photographing kids this age is tough because they
crawl away every chance they get. Or they try to eat everything in
the studio! But I didn't mind when this little gem crawled away from the backdrop
because he kept crawling over to me and it gave me
a chance to squeeze those chubby cheeks!

Here's my little Cuban wonder.
Ok, so he's not 100% Cuban...but we'll forgive Daddy for that.

Only kept the hat on for about a minute but I managed to swing this one.
Had to do something artsy with it.

Lucky me. I always get beautiful families!

And the traditional Cuban portrait for Abuela.

3 Days Young

I just wanted to update this post because Mom gave me
permission to share this little baby's story.
Little Gabriel is an amazing gift that was bestowed upon
his parents by (ok, try and follow me here)...his Dad's best friend's wife.
She was a surrogate and carried this beautiful little baby
for the parents! How cool is that?!
Furthermore, Mom and Dad live across the country!
Lucky for me, Surrogate Mommy lives near me
so Mom and Dad brought him in just 3 days new to
be photographed.

This is my new favorite newborn...
Gabriel.

I've done this pose before but this one is my fav because Mom & Dad's hands look like petals around the baby.
Don't know if moms come any more beautiful than this.

Thank you guys for letting me capture Gabriel in all his newness! And it's a good thing we photographed him so little because judging by his hands and feet, he's going to be a giant!

The Linc Engagement Session

In this line of work, I sometimes get to shoot in really cool locations. I recently had the opportunity to do just that.
Meet J.P. and Susan. They will be getting married at The Mansion in May. They both work at Lincoln Financial Field aka"The Linc" so we got access to have the place to ourselves on a very cold and windy February day. I'd never been to The Linc so this was a real treat for me and I got the grand tour!

We even got a little snow. Only about 5 minutes of it but it made for a cool photo.

Love this wall! Full of huge photos of the stadium and the conference championship. Not to mention the amazing light the comes in from the floor to ceiling windows.

This area is in the lobby and has glass partitions with the history of the team.

This is one of the several lounges...which is where I would hang out during a game...staying warm! This one had a very cool pool table and fireplace.
Thanks for the tour guys. It was amazing and I think I lost 5 pounds walking around that day!! Really looking forward to the wedding!!

Philadelphia Engagement Session

This was a really fun session for me. Meet Aaron and Caroline who will be getting married in the fall the Laurel Creek Country Club. They wanted a Philadelphia shoot so we started the session at Independence Hall. The red brick, beautiful park and the awesome doorways made for great backdrops.

This is actually the entrance to the library.
I LOVE the cobble stone on the side streets of the park!
How cute are they! So easy to photograph!

We decided to walk over to Love Park. We never made it because we totally went in the wrong direction...but along the way we found some random building with these awesome wood carved doors!

I wanted to find this very cool mosaic wall I had seen somewhere. But all I knew was that it was on South Street. So we walked and walked and walked...and FINALLY decided to ask someone. Little did we know it was the famous Magic Gardens. I had never heard of it. Glad we made the effort because we burned some calories and found this amazing place!
This was a really fun shoot and I'm really looking forward to shooting the wedding!
Thanks guys!

Nick & Claudia's Wedding

This is Nick & Claudia's wedding which was in September '07. It was held a The Primavera in Sterling, NJ. Claudia's gown was a GORGEOUS Vera Wang.

And she looked stunning in it!

Nick seemed ok before the ceremony. Here his is with the boys.

But he fell apart once he saw her coming down the aisle. I've shot a lot of weddings and this is the best reaction I've ever seen!

Who could ask for a more beautiful bride?

The girls striking a pose. Enrique had a great idea to throw some petals at them. Thanks Enrique! You gave me a great shot!

They had beautiful details.

The flowers by House Of Flowers in Linden were amazing as were their very sleek invites.Jimmy Ponzio kept the party going all night with his awesome sounds and light effect.

And one of my personal favorites of the night. Gave it a little antique look.

Thanks Nick and Claudia for allowing me to capture this very special day!

Love Park Engagement Session

Here was another awesome engagement session. This is Kristin and Nicholas. We had a great time on an unseasonably warm October day in Love Park in Philly. This couple is so cute!! Their chemistry made for some great shots. I can't wait for the wedding which will take place at The Mansion!

Long Branch Engagement Session

I wanted to kick this blog off with one of my favorite engagement sessions of the year. This is Veronica and Rodney. We did their session in Long Branch. I hadn't been there since I was about 8 years old and I was so glad they picked this location. It was really beautiful and had some great backdrops. Veronica and Rodney were so natural that it really made my job easy.

We went over to Pier Village for a couple of shots and had some lunch.

Not sure what their wedding plans are yet, but I hope they give me a call. * wink *wink*
