Can you say ROCKSTAR? / New Jersey Child Photographer

I NEVER post photos of my own kids. And since I'm always shooting for work, I sometimes get lazy about photographing my own kids in every day life. Not a sporting event, or a birthday...but just their regular every day lives.

So, the BIG thing this year has been Guitar Hero. I bought it a few months ago and it was supposed to be a Christmas gift. But after I tried it, I thought it would be way to hard for them. So I just gave it to them. (Besides, I was totally hooked and I was tired of playing at night and then hiding it so they wouldn't see it.)

Well, I was SOOO wrong! We already knew that our middle one was a total rockstar on drums. He drums anywhere, everywhere all day long. But he's PHENOMENAL at Guitar Hero! Granted, I know it's not a real guitar but it's really hard and he's totally awesome!!! And he get's so into it! Well, you'll see what I mean when you look at these pics. I can't wait 'till Christmas when he opens up Rock Band II and sees the drums!!!

Oh, and while the little guy isn't as good because he's fingers are too small, he does pretty well himself. And he's only 4!

What can I say...my kids are TOTAL ROCKSTARS. Yeah, Mommy likes to brag.

Rockin' out the solo on When You Were Young.

Little guy getting in on the action on his little electric guitar while the other one plays drums on a stool. I told you, he'll play on anything.

Check out the face he makes when he drums. Totally into it.

Oh, and yes my little ones both have faux hawks. Not my idea. They begged. What do you expect when their idols are Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine and Travis Barker?!

Tiffany in LBI / New Jersey Portrait Photographer

This was a fun session. Just me, Tiffany, the beach and a camera. Tiffany is about to graduate from college and wanted to treat herself to some photos to commemorate this really special time in her life. I love the way the photos turned out as did Tiffany.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Pittsburgh Steelers / New Jersey Event Photographer

Sometimes I get to do really cool shoots. I had the opportunity to do some staff photos for the security team at Lincoln Financial Field. My very cool client got me a credential that allowed me out on the field during the game!! So I got some really cool shots. Granted, I don't have the required lenses for sports photography...but I made due. Thanks JP!!

My favorite one.

I think those were the only ones where Rothlisberger didn't have his face in the dirt. Sorry Steelers fans...but it's true.

Ok, I know who this is...and I was like 2 feet away from him. Pretty cool.

South Jersey Maternity Photography - New Jersey Maternity Photographer

This is one of my favorite families to photograph. Meet Kim, Glenn and Glenn Jr. I did Kim's maternity photos way back when and Baby Glenn's newborn photos. For those of you who've been to the studio, he's the gorgeous little baby in the blue baby coffee
table book on display.

Well Kim is expecting again so we had to do family maternity photos to commemorate this special time. I headed out to their house and used the yard this time since the last photos were a studio set up. I wanted to give them something different this time and their yard was the perfect setting.

Looking forward to the new baby's newborn session!

Getting this shot was a struggle. But some cheerios did the trick!

Daddy is a firefighter so we had to do one of these.

Baby Glenn has one of these in his room so we had to do a girl version for his sister.

Riverton Country Club Wedding - Riverton, NJ / New Jersey Wedding Photographer

I shoot a lot of weddings. I'd like to say they are all fun. But some weddings just take the cake (no pun intended). Meet Brian and Rebecca. First of all, I should be so lucky to get a bride this drop dead gorgeous with amazing style...but then to get to capture one of the most fun receptions I've ever been to...that the icing. Ok, that pun was totally intended. Scroll down and you'll see what I mean.

You can view the entire slideshow here.

Photobucket

I said she was gorgeous, right?
Photobucket

The hotel had these great hallways that I had to put to good use. And the lighting in the church as amazing.
Photobucket

The church was a photographer's dream. Here is the bride making her grand entrance with her father. And posing with her groom.

Two of my favorites. Gotta love the Converse!

Conga line anyone?

The guys were partying it up. Particularly THIS guy.

The girls were not about to be outdone.

BUT...the absolute most fun had to be had by the Rebecca and Brian's DAD'S!!! Yep, that's the on the floor.

Congratulations you guys and thanks for letting me capture such fun event!!

I LOVE TWILIGHT!!!!

Ok, I never post personal stuff so let this be my first. Thanks to my closest friend Michelle, I have become OBSESSED with the Twilight saga by Stephanie Meyer. If you are a female (I don't care what age) and you haven't read this series...GO BUY IT! Don't be intimidated by it's thickness. You won't be able to put it/them down and you'll get through them very fast. I promise! I am 100% "dazzled" by Edward Cullen and my heart breaks for Jacob. Those of you who are fans know exactly what I'm talking about.

Anyway...just had to post about it. Now if any of the guys in my photos turn out look extra pale with sparkly honey colored eyes...you'll know why.

Friday at midnight you'll find me at Barnes & Nobel in Marlton at the release party of the 4th and final (sniff, sob) book. And on December 12th I will be watching the movie with a box of tissues and an inhaler.

Stone Harbor Wedding - June 7, 2008 / NJ Wedding Photographer

Wow! This day was a SCORCHER!!! Luckily, I was down in Stone Harbor shooting this
beautiful beach side wedding.

Click here to view the full slideshow.
For PC users only.

Meet Dan & Marissa. They live cross country but had their wedding near her parents' beach house in Stone Harbor, NJ. The event was beautiful to say the least. Having been married on the beach myself, I'm partial to beach weddings.

Marissa wore one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever had the
pleasure of photographing. And a size TWO I might add!
The dress was a Monique Lhuillier design from Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier, New York, NY

The shoes...what else but Manolo Blahnik?

Mr. & Mrs. Grimes' beach house set the stage for some pre ceremony formals.

They cleverly provided flipflops for guests so they could kick
off their shoes before walking onto the beach.
One of my favs.
Stunning bouquets provided by Barbara's Sea Shell Florist of Villas, NJ.
Claude's Restaurant
kept tummies and glasses full all night.

Music was provided by Electric Entertainment of Ardmore, PA who kept everyone
young and old dancing the night away.
Thank you for allowing me to photograph this beautiful event!
